Today, we decided to visit the town of Princeton and Princeton University in the morning. Then, we went to visit a HUGE American supermarket called "Wegmans". Later that afternoon, we went to Jersey Gardens, which is another HUGE mall. And finally, we finished the day by eating at a famous New Jersey pizza restaurant called Delorenzo's. It was ranked one of the top 25 pizza restaurants in the United States!
Before walking around Princeton, we decided to get breakfast at a place called Jammin' Crepes, it was excellent! Katarina and I ate an egg and cheese crepe. After eating our crepes, we walked around the town of Princeton which are filled with fun shops, restaurants, and beautiful flowers. We walked around Princeton University's campus and took a lot of photos.
Immediately when we walked into Wegmans, I was blown away by how large the grocery store was! Not only was there a huge selection of groceries, but there was a large selection of prepared, ready-to-eat foods like pizza, chicken, sushi, Chinese food, sandwiches, etc. They even had a huge liquor department with wines from around the world, there was even a brand of wine from Spain that my family drinks!
After a quick lunch at Katarina's house, we drove one hour to Jersey Gardens to go shopping, on a mission to buy Adidas Stan Smith sneakers (bambas). I was again amazed by how enormous the outlet mall was. it had 2 floors and was completely indoors, unlike many other outlet malls. It was similar to regular malls. But they had a larger variety of brands to choose from!
Katarina and I walked around the whole mall to find Stan Smith bambas, but it was impossible to find the shoes. None of the stores in the mall carried the shoes! Other than searching for the Stan Smith bambas, we bought clothes at Levi's, Hollister, Abercrombie & Fitch, and Tommy Hilfiger.
After spending two hours at Jersey Gardens, we drove to a restaurant called Delorenzo's Tomato Pies. It was the first time that I ate a pizza with the cheese and toppings on first then with the tomato sauce on top. It was delicious and very unique.
