Day Five: BBQ, the King of Prussia Mall, and Bryn Mawr College

Today was another busy day! Our plans for the day were eating at a traditional Southern Barbecue restaurant with Katarina's cousin Ariana, walking around the King of Prussia Mall, and visiting Katarina's college, Bryn Mawr College.

The restaurant we ate at was called Mission BBQ, it was fun to try a different type of cuisine from another region in the United States. We had macaroni and cheese, corn bread, pork brisket, pork ribs, and french fries. I have been eating so much food on my trip! It was also nice to meet Katarina's cousin, Ariana. She told us fun stories about their family.

After lunch, me, Michael (Katarina's father), and Katarina went to walk around the King of Prussia mall. It was a nice mall but they had many stores that were very expensive! They had brands such as Hermès, Tiffany & Co., Jimmy Choo, Cartier, Prada, Gucci, and Louis Vuitton. We did not shop at these stores but we did eat some delicious gelato.

We then drove to Bryn Mawr College, which was only twenty minutes away from the King of Prussia mall. I was so excited to see Katarina's school! Katarina is also a tour guide at her college and she gave me and her father a tour of the school. Many of the buildings on her campus look like castles! We went into three dorms, the campus center, a couple of classrooms, and one of the three libraries. She has a bigger campus than UIC Barcelona!

After spending an hour and a half visiting Bryn Mawr College, we drove home to eat dinner at a Ramen restaurant called Terakawa Ramen. It was very delicious but so much food! Katarina and I then went to Ani's house to watch a movie. I spent time with Ani, Katarina, and Katarina's friend Mia. We had a great time watching Shrek!
